I haven’t been around lately because, yet again, we have had no internet and are we’re really not very happy with our service provider. Having no internet should really have given me lots of time to get caught up with odd jobs in the house, but it’s actually been the opposite. I’ve been chasing my tail for the last few weeks which is why today’s post is a guest post. It’s a guest post by the girl who is responsible for the tail chasing. Meet Kip, our new wire-haired Hungarian Vizsla puppy. (She is obviously super-intelligent as she already knows her way around my keyboard.)

Hello, I’m Kip and I Love Chasing My Tail
Hello there. My name’s Kip and I’m my Mum’s new bestest friend. I arrived here a few weeks ago when I was eight weeks old. I was a wee teeny bit scared and sad at first but Mum and Dad gave me lots of cuddles and I soon felt better. Sometimes Mum doesn’t feel too good so I go and cuddle into her. Cuddles make me feel better so I’m sure my cuddles help Mum too.
Mum loves me loads – she keeps telling me that. But I did hear her tell Dad that she was always chasing her tail since I arrived. I don’t understand that though because I’ve never seen her chasing her tail. Actually, I don’t even think she has a tail. I’ve never seen one. I’m sure I’d have noticed.
I love my tail. It wags all the time. My Mum said my tail even wags while I’m sleeping sometimes. One day I chased my tail. It was great fun but I just couldn’t catch it. Then I heard Mum laugh at me so I did it again. And again. Then I got a bit dizzy so had to stop. Mum said I’m crazy. I don’t think I am. I’m just happy.
I’m probably the happiest puppy in the world but one thing I don’t like is having sore teeth. They’ve been so sore that I’ve been squealing and crying some nights. Mum says she feels so sorry for me because she has this thing called tri…tri…oh, I can’t remember what the thing is but it makes her have sore teeth all the time. She’s sad that she can’t fix it for me but she said once my big teeth are through it will stop hurting. She snuggles me and that makes me feel a wee bit better and she gives me ice and toys to chew on which help a tiny bit. But, really, I’d rather just chew Mum’s arm. I’m sure she doesn’t mind. Oh, and it also helps to chew the toggles on her hoodie. Actually, I like to chew them even when my teeth don’t hurt.

Uh-Oh, Mum Told Me Off
As well as chasing my tail and chewing Mum’s toggles, I love to play. I’ve got lots of toys – balls, chewy things, tuggy things and frisbees (my favourite!!). Mum says I’m really clever because I always bring the balls and frisbees back when she throws them. I like to fetch other things too but for some reason, Mum tells me I shouldn’t. But I just can’t figure out why. I mean, what’s wrong with picking up sheep poo and bringing it into the house? I didn’t like the face she made, so instead of bringing it home, I decided to just eat it instead. Uh oh, she didn’t like that either and told me off.
So now I am trying to be really really good and not pick it up anymore. That’s a real challenge because this is a sheep farm so there’s a lot of sheep poo. But I’ll keep trying to be good. Obviously, as well as sheep poo, there are lots and lots of sheep. Mum and Dad said I can’t go near them. Think they said the sheep will be having lambs soon, so I haven’t to annoy them. They’re a bit scary anyway. They’re much bigger than me and make funny baahing noises.
Kip’s Kingdom
The sheep look a bit bored. I don’t know how they could be bored living here because this has to be the best place in the world to live. I love it and I’m definitely not bored here. There are so many places for me to run, play and have fun. Mum watched me running around outside the other day and said they should rename the farm to Kip’s Kingdom. I think that sounds like a good idea.

Oh…here’s Mum coming through and I was right – she definitely doesn’t have a tail! But she does have food and she’s filling my bowl. It’s dinner time!!
Sending love and big slobbery licky kisses to all of you from Kip’s Kingdom. 🐾🐾
PS – Mum said she’ll give pupdates every now and then on her Facebook page.

Awww. Gorgeous.
Thank you, Liz. She is such a little sweetheart.
She will keep you busy.
Thankfully, hubby is kept more busy than me. I have very small bouts of energy then I’m fit for puppy cuddles instead of playing. I do need an extra pair of eyes though!
Yes, definitely an extra pair of eyes. 🙂
I’m so glad Kip’s now home with you two and you’ve had some quality time to get him settled. I do feel for you with the lack of Internet. How do things stand at the moment with your service provider?
I love the post – Kip’s quite the writer, isn’t she? Such a good grasp of grammar even as such a young pup! 🐶 Poor little one though with those sore teeth. Your mum’s right, stay away from the sheep poops. I fear you’ll have a challenge on your hands with that one, Liz!
I think it’s wonderful you’ve now got this gorgeous little furball in your life. I hope she brings lots of joy and comfort. She’s very lucky to have a forever home full of such love. Keep wagging that tail, Kip! 🐾 xx
Let’s just say we’re very angry with our ISP. We’re only able to be online thanks to our old company. We still have the satellite dish and equipment from them so phoned and asked if we could have a month with them. They normally only do 12 month contracts but they have been brilliant and have provided us with a service for a month. Our company are now talking about sending an engineer out next week…that will be four weeks since we lost our connection.
Anyway, on to a happier topic…my little Kip. She’s been here for three and half weeks now and it feels as though she’s always been here. She’s just a little sweetheart. A naughty little sweetheart sometimes, but has found her way into our hearts.
This made me smile!
I’m glad. She makes me smile, so I’m happy to share 😊
Precious Kip! Wonderful to have such a sweet, happy boy join your family.❤️🐶
Thanks Terry. Little Kip is just adorable and she’s a very
happy puppy.
OH my goodness!!! She is precious!! Enjoy those puppy kisses!!!
She really is, Cynthia. and I certainly will enjoy them.
I smiled through this entire post. Kip is sweet and I’m sure brings a smile to your face even when he is chewing your toggles;) Thank you for sharing it through his point of view.
